Colt LE6920 T markings?

hey guys,

tried the search function and didn't find the answer.

i was looking into picking up a LE6920 at my local shop and was just curious if they have the white T markings under the carry handle. i thought i had read somewhere that some had them and some don't depending on the year produced.

All current production 6920s have T markings on top of the upper receiver...

just curious, any idea when T Markings became standard? year ago or two? i'm not sure of the production date of the 6920s at my shop. can't imagine they've been sitting around for too long. i'm assuming they're relatively new production. don't the new production have the cerro forge mark on the lower receiver as well? or is that just for the sporter version?

maybe i'll just ask the shop guy to pop off the carry handle so i can see if it's T marked.

I have an older 6920 and it has the T markings.

What is the big deal about them?

I've seen Colt Diemarco marked upper without T marks. So if it's early enough, there won't be T marks, but that's pretty rare.
