AAC would like to familiarize 3-gun shooters with the benefits of shooting the 300 AAC BLACKOUT cartridge in certain events, so if you win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd overall in the 2011 USPSA Nationals in Las Vegas on October 20-23 in the Tactical Optics Division while using a rifle of any brand chambered 300 AAC BLACKOUT using any brand of 300 AAC BLACKOUT ammo (including handloaded), we will add supplemental prize money of $10,000 for first, $5,000 for second, and $2,500 for third. There will be at most one winner of each prize.
If you would like to make Major, a load consisting of Remington 300 AAC BLACKOUT brass, a Remington 7.5 primer, a Sierra 175 MK loaded to 2.245 OAL, and 20.0 grains of A1680 powder, has been tested to normal pressure levels and 1900 fps in a 16 inch barrel (power Factor is 330). Rifles and uppers are available from AAC, Noveske, and others.
