To sell or not

I am looking for some advice from the wiser members here. I am in a perdiciment I bought a colt rail gun several years ago put 50 rnds of wwb thorugh it . Then I bought a gi 80 series and had quite a bit of work done to it, i love 1911s but i dont shoot them that much and when I do, I go to my semi custom gun, the rail gun sits..(sorry for the rambleing) from my past expirence im not a fan of selling guns but i also dont like not shooting the ones i own. Should i sell the rail gun for something i would use more or leave it as a safe queen. Looking for opinions of somone who as been through this Thanks

I thought the Rail Gun just came out last year?

I have sold, or am selling almost all of my handguns. I'm keeping 3 1911s, 1 Hi Power and a few Glock 19s.

Sell the gun, if you want it back later, buy another one.

Its a nice looking pistol. I was hoping it was one of the blued (or is it Cerakote??) versions. I hope it finds a good home with someone who will love it. Good luck.

I sell guns if I don't like them, handle poorly or dont shoot well. If you need the money, sell it. If not, don't. There will always be people to buy Colt 1911's.

Can you expand on what you had done to the blued Colt, please? I really like that ambi-safety. Who makes it?

Most firearms are poor investments. Your rail gun is not an heirloom or collectible. If you like it, keep it. If you don't like it, sell it and get something that you'd rather have.

Off the topic of the thread. (The gun is now finished) but then i had new grip safety, trigger, dissconector, sear, hammer, and much grip work undercut and stipple,,the safety is a kimber ambi i like it alot i think it was about 60$

Nice! Unless you need the money to fund another project I would recommend hanging on to the rail gun. You might decide later on that you want to have the same custom work done to it. Having a 1911 which you can hang a light on the front won't hurt.
