Are the 5.56 HK's as reliable as the 7.62 models?
I'm talking HK (and maybe vector), not century...
I had a HK91 that a friend now owns (times are tight!) and it never once failed me.
Will I get that reliability from a HK93?

The very first rifle I ever bought was an HK93 from my recruiter when I returned from OSUT. It was exceptionally accurate and I never had an issue with it. I have no idea about the aftermarket stuff.

REAL HK 93's or 33's, yes. Anything else, kit builds, no.

I ran into LOTS of problems with Vectors.

I wish MKE would get their shit together and start importing short barrel pistol versions of the HK53 and full size MP5 with normal barrels.

That would be nice. I'm simply thankful I was able to get K and P versions of the 94 so cheap.
Supposedly PTR also bought 5.56 and 9mm tooling from FMP (I honestly didn't know Portugal made a 5.56) and are looking to add those to their line at some future date. Course the owner of the company told my that years ago.

Not one that I would consider good. MKE brought in some HK contracts however.
