At SHOT '11 Tango Down announced their FN SCAR extended rail. But since then, I haven't heard anything about it. Could someone at SHOT please update us? Thanks.

Hmm... google couldn't come up with any updates on this project. I'm guessing they sidelined it. Hopefully someone comes in here and proves me wrong.

Talked with them at SHOT. Was told at this time they are not making the extended rails but will be making the side rails with QD cups. If I understood what they said I believe they are in the works right now.

New rail and stock by VLTOR. It's not TD, but it's something.

Not enough money in it for them. Expensive tool up, small customer base.
