Does anyone else use one of these on there AR? Specifically, I will be buying a Gen 2 model and using it on a S&W M&P. It looks like no tools are needed to install the rail.....other than maybe the D ring tool which may make things alot easier depending on how tight the spring is to push it down and take off the stock handguards.

Im not doing anything super fancy to the gun....just an aimpoint and 3x magnifier..so this setup should just work fine as long as I dont try shooting .25moa or something.

Anyone else installed one of these quad rails and had any issues?

I have the MI 2 piece free float rail. It was very easy to install and the Generation II rails are light. I like it a lot and I would recommend one.

Great looking rig. I canning even tell the difference between your rail and a gen 2. Apparently, the gen 2 models do not have any screws.

I went ahead and ordered a gen 2.

I have a Gen I rail on my armalite ar-10 carbine and it is rock solid......looks good too. Next up is a surefire light with grip and nav lights. Outta set me back about $600 bucks or so.....gotta have it in my opinion.
