I'm going to be stationed at MARFORRES here soon and I'm starting to look for a place and wanted to make sure I'm not too far from a good outdoor range. Any suggestion on areas to live in New Orleans that aren't too terribly far away?

Palo Alto is 45 minutes from New Orleans. The range is up to 600 yards but you need a membership ($150 a year I believe).

I'm from Baton Rouge. I worked for two years in New Orleans East (Michoud).

There is MUCH MORE to be concerned about in NOLA. Trust me.
