Hey guys - I was just wondering what everyone uses/suggests for lubing or greasing the threading on the barrel to receiver fit. I'm not sure what to use. Thanks in advance!

I use molygrease bought off the shelf at the local hardware store... Here's a question... anyone ever try spray/dry type moly lube like the one by hoppes? I suppose it works just the same, just goes on dry. Dont know if that matters.

The thing about grease is it will seal against moisture penetration, dry spray won't.

pretty much any grease off the self will work, as long as it doesn't contain graphite. I use a tub of white lithium grease.

Moly of the shelf at the auto parts store for $4 and if I used it for barrel installs I could pass it along for generations to come. It does the job perfectly...
