I'm thinking of getting a chrome BCG the stock BCG in my M&P is fine I just like the looks of the hard chrome. I was wondering if anyone has any experiencing with this BCG

Specs look good. I've never heard anything negative about Rainier products. They only thing, it is a semi carrier not a M16 carrier.

I'm not sure that I need the extra weight I mostly shoot cheap 223 not 5.56

I have the non-chromed version and after about 500 rounds or so it has worked fine. It appears to be well made and the gas key was properly staked. Mine has a full auto carrier.

I have just over 1k rounds down range with my RA BCG, I also have the non-chromed version, but it still cleans up to brand new condition, shows little wear, and everything has remained in tact and in good condition to this point. I have faith it is a lasting piece.

I'm not sure that this is a necessary upgrade since your bolts working fine...with that said though, I'd trust anything from Rainier Arms.
