Since I can't shoot mine until Sunday, which is technically the 1st, let's extend this through the weekend.
:D

Sorry to see such a lack of participation here. Too complicated? Too hard? To confusing?

Too scared? :p

Too against the rules at my range.

Too expensive to do at other range.

I'm picking up an MP15-22 basically just to do this.

I posted my results in your link but it seems they didnt work. I have since dinked around a bit and my ced only holds 10 strings, so I will have to shoot again on Sunday.

They will initially show up under the "raw data" tab at the bottom and I then have to make them show up on the main page. I'm supposed to get an email any time someone updates the sheet but I didn't this time for some reason.

Only reason I had to do it this way is I made the form out of order initially.

Ahh sweet. I am glad I dont have to shoot the rifle part again.

The sad part is I arrogantly decided I was only going to bring 50 rds for my pistol and ended up trying three times on the 2" circle and not getting one of my groups in the circle. I had never done any precision shooting that close. I was getting nice tight groups but they were all too low, I guess because of sight offset. I was having a real hard time remember to aim high and not just aiming center of target at speed.

I can't wait to participate, but I'm on crutches at the moment because of surgery a few weeks ago. I should be able to compete in the April match, fingers crossed.

shot it last week but didn't upload the vid until now.
So, I just put my scores in.

Pretty neat, when I fist saw this I was thinking "damn, 3 yards, really? wtf is this?" but the long string of fire really brings out the grip, trigger reset, stance, and extension into the sight tracking. And with the target sizes you actually do get 3 distinct levels of sighting needed.

If it wasn't 30 rounds I would have run it a few times and pushed on the speed more, esp on the 2" dot, but guaranteeing each one of those is in takes attention.

There was no option, but I shot mine from concealment, closed front garment AIWB with a stock G17 RTF2, Hack sights.

BTW, spreadsheet to enter scores is pretty neat.

I posted my scores as well. Ran through it kind of quick at the end of the day, but at least I'm on the board!

I ran this drill FINALLY!
Been wanting to do this drill since March.
Better late than never... :jester:

So I ran it cold with an AKM with a PA Microdot mounted on an Ultimak.
Yugo surplus M65 ammo.

Probably the worst times on the list.

2" time: 8.30
4" time: 7.02
8" time: 4.22

2nd run I missed 1 in the 8" and 2 in the 2".

I tried the pistol portion.
Gen3 G19 FDE.
I ran it clean until I got to the 2" dot.
Flubbed it out out of the gate, then had a horizontal stovepipe on round 7 and when I cleared it, it took round 9 with it.
Anyway, I suck at that 2" dot!
More dot torture for me.

I hope to see more of these drills on the board.
Even if only a handful of us participate.
