everyone here will tell you that the BCM barrel is better. Then you'll be told to use the search feature.

I'm running the Spike's CHF barrel on my latest build and it seems to be a great barrel. Made and finished by FN (got this information from Spike's), 5.56 Chamber checks out with the guages, and I measured a .078" gas port. I'm also a fan of the barrel profile as it's not a true lightweight and it just makes sense compared to a Gov. profile barrel.

Accuracy is great. I threw a scope on my rifle to see what kind of groups I could get ( I usually run an Aimpoint) and I was pulling 1.25-2 MOA five-round groups using M855 at 100 yards. Pretty damn good considering M855 isn't the most accurate round out there. Barrel is free floated and this was shooting from the bench with a grip pod attached for stability. Other than that little test, my intent is not to shoot sub-MOA groups with this carbine, but it's nice to know that the barrel is indeed accurate.

I only have a couple hundred rounds trhough it so far, but being an FN made barrel, I'm not too worried about longevity issues.

That's just been my experience so far with the Spike's barrel. And BCM barrels are superb as well, although they have been out of stock for a long time. I don't think you'd be going wrong with either.

I know that BCM barrels are definitely a true 5.56 chamber.
My 16" BFH does better than it should with 55gr M193.
However, my Colt barrel shoots higher grade ammo a bit more precisely.

I don't have any experience with Spike's barrels, so I cannot confirm or deny their claims.

BCM is better, do a search.
