I ordered an M4 Smith and Wesson M&P 5.56 model 3 1/2 weeks ago. Anyone else know what the wait time is to get one of these shipped to your FFL dealer?

I get different stories from everyone....even smith and wesson....other than it might take 30-45 days.

My FFL says 30-90 days one orders. Lucky for me they have quite a few in stock.

They have some in stock? How much did u get yours for? I paid 560 pre tax. If ur place does orders over the phone or will ship one in the same price range I will cancel my order and order from where you got yours. Let me know PLEASE!

I bought one for my dad recently. I ordered it on 11-23-11 and it came in on 2-7-12. It took awhile.....

What makes you think that you get more or better info here than from S&W?

I ordered mine in December and am STILL waiting! No other LGS seem to have it either.

.

Now maybe it's just me but if I was forced to wait 2-3 months for an "inexpensive" gun, I would bust my buttocks to save up a few more Franklin's and get a higher tier gun while I was waiting...

But like I said, maybe it's just me...

This is what I did.

Some may not agree, but I felt the Windham MPC had some better features than the M&P sport (other than the sports 1/8 to the Windham's 1/9) and overall a better weapon. Paid $62 more than what I was ready to pay for the sport...

I am acutally glad they didn't have the sport in stock, or that's what I would have.

OP - have you gotten the weapon yet?
