Calling it a semi auto handgun seemed bad enough. Here's a vid of that abomination:

Needs twin bayonets.
Its not a 1911, it is clearly marked 2011. If only I would be alive in 2111 for the three barrel variant.
It looks like they have successfully ended the 9mm vs .45cal debate. Whose going to argue that one round of 9mm is going to be more effective than two .45s? Not to mention the gun also has twice the capacity.
Gorilla hands included?
This is why G.I. Joe needed kung fu grip!

The actual GI Joe action figures can use their mini-firearms. Unlike the crap from their gun side of the business, these miniture guns look pretty cool. Link: miniaturearsenal.com/

Well, shit. And here I was thinking that the G.I. Joe king fu grip was to make your mushroom tip go drip, drip.

ipsc shooters will want them and after enough complaining, uspsa will change their rules to allow them to accomodate a single shot double tap. :D
lol that would suck.
I seem to recall some cautionary tail of how if your double barrel shotgun goes off twice with one pull of the trigger that the ATF in their infinite wisdom would consider that an unregistered machine gun...
I honestly don't see how this thing is functionally any different from a pistol with a 2 round burst setting.

so if you fail to pull them at exactly the same time does it eject a live round from the "slow" side or does it just fail to extract altogether?

I've been trying to figure out how the hell it would work!

it seems like having it depend on 2 rounds going off at the exact same time makes malfunctions fairly likely. I guarantee the ATF is going to put the hammer down on that thing too.
Needs twin bayonets.
YES!
How's anyone going to find a holster for that hoss? I guess it would fit into a double AR pouch.
If someone wanted to get a head start on making some kydex holsters for it I bet they'd sell a couple. Literally.

Just for that it's worth buying three. And then selling them to some Bubbas...
Just wait until MSN learns the horror of the .22LR that's usually used for knocking down cows...
YES!

I bet you $5 it will end up on TOS with the zombie model eotech mounted on it within a month LOL:D
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.....
That's just freakin' retarded.
And for all that, they didn't think to have the slides operate independantly? So much for twice the capacity.
Though I suppose it'll come in handy for all those instant double-taps....Next thing you know they'll spew forth version 2.0 with otuward-canted barrels so you can shoot two targets at the same time....
They should strap that thing into the "corner shot"
Oh shit!

John Browning just threw up in his grave, rolled over and then shit his skeleton.
I said it once, I'll say it again.
Not only is it practically useless, it's not even a good conversation piece. What you you discuss while peering over it? How stupid you were to buy it? How you could have spent the money on pretty much anything more useful?
Jeff Cooper, the Godfather of the modern technique of the Pistol may rise from the dead to hunt down and kill those who manufacture this abortion.:suicide:
I have a couple questions:
How do you conceal this?
Is this what he thought a double stack 1911 is?
How long will this take to become legal for IDPA because I will have the fastest follow up shots ever.
What would be really sweet is if you could twist them and pull them apart to use separately. Like those swords in the kung fu movies.
Or a selectable mode, where you can choose simultaneous fire, or a 2 round burst.

Well, look on the bright side - they could have bought a Hi-point
I'm looking forward to seeing the movie where some hero/tough guy is using 2 of these, one in each hand, firing simultaneously while in midair. It should be epic!

You need to watch the Green Hornet then. Same concept different design.

A friend looked at the specs the second trigger is really just for show, internals apparently work on one trigger sear, it will always fire 2 rounds.
I'm pretty sure this is blasphemous to bastardize a 1911 like this. I especially like the quality work on the barrel bushings, looks like super dremel work to get 2 standard bushing to fit.

Oops missed the part about one in each hand.
I guess we're still patiently waiting for Epic Action Movie: The Movie to show us that.

No.
From the AF2011 description on their website:
"The AF2011-A1 (“Twenty Eleven” for aficionados) can be ordered either with 2 independent triggers and one sear group (left or right, with user-interchangeability for right or left operations) or with 2 triggers permanently joined and the choice of 1 or 2 sear groups."
That says to me, one bullet at a time.
No.

To me that says 2 bullets all the time.
Unless I'm mistaken
2 independent triggers and one sear group = either trigger will work one sear that fires both barrel.
2 triggers permanently joined and the choice of 1 or 2 sear groups = pull one trigger pull the other trigger, and regardless of 1 or 2 sears would still fire both barrels.
I don't see the option for 2 independent triggers and 2 sears.
No.

That's what says it to me but I could be wrong. Anyone got a definitive answer?
No.

I guess it is how each of us read it, to me that says you can make either trigger work the sear, but in having only one sear the trigger that is configured to work would still fire both barrels. I guess we would need the manufacture to clear that up. The gun is such an abomination though I don't care enough to find out more that the conjecture we put forth here. :D
There's probably some sort of block that prevents firing until both are pulled.
It needs to have both triggers pulled to fire two rounds. 1 trigger+1 pull+ 2 bullets = machinegun.
