I guess I don't see any purpose past drinking out of it like any other "normal" mug.

You could buy a case of 9mm with that much $$.

ETA: Wow, I just read that it doesn't even come with the carry handle...

However, if you must drink beer from a metal stein I would recommend something made of pewter.
