Staking ?? Rare?

I've read about this staking,..and that most AR-15's are not staked properly..
and even derogatory remarks about major companies that don't know what it is...Id like to doubt that if it's important ....Soooooooooo!!!
What ever it is I'd like it , and I'd like it well done....
