Family came to America from County Galway in 1704. Beat the potato famine by 150 years! :p

Family came over from Kilkenney, then boarded another boat to put those "Succession Bastards" in their graves. From there worked on railroad and came to west coast. I am as Irish as they come, save being born there. All my cross contamination happened in the Emerald Isle years before.
I'm a English/French mix
But hey, maybe somewhere down the line the english side might have had a few "run ins" with the irish..lol

I am a mix, good part Irish with Kennedy last name. I will be making soda bread and drinking homebrew later :D
A mutt here. A little Irish, mostly Welsh, some English and French.
I'm mostly Italian but lets not forget St Patrick was a Roman citizen of Roman occupied and Christianized Britain. :).
In any event its enough of an excuse to go drink with (out-drink) all my Irish friends today. BTW, Guinness is the finest beer in the world IMHO and accounts for 85% of the beer I drink.
Please don't drink green Miller Light today:bad::alcoholic:
PS: The Kilt and Bagpipes are Roman too:eek:
I'm allegedly part Irish.
Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale for me.
I'm not Irish, but I've been known to drink with/like some!
Speaking of which, where is IRISH?
Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Quick tempered, good drinkers.

The liver is Evil. It must be Punished.
Guilty! There've been a few interlopers in the family tree but the vast majority are Mick through and through. There's a bit of Norwegian and some other cold climate, skirt wearing folk in there too but mostly I'm an American white guy with a shamrock tattoo.
I'm not Irish, but I've been known to drink with/like some!

I was busy celebrating with Mrs. Irish :)

1/4 Irish, 1/4 German, 1/2 English. Supposedly I have an ancestor named Drogo De'MonteAcuito that was one of the Norman invaders of England.
Go, Drogo.
1/2 Irish, 1/2 Italian. I'm a great cook but by the time the meal is served, I'm too drunk to eat.
No celebrating for me this year. I was at Woodbadge training with the Scouts. Stupid calendar. Oh well at least I was wearing my green.
Supposedly we have a viking princess from Dublin in our lineage (on my dad's side, which is predominantly English and Welsh, and not the mom's side, which is Norwegian and other viking-descendant peoples)
Does that count?
We had corned beef last night, but grilled, not boiled, and no cabbage or potatoes...
