I will be picking up my first suppressor in 22lr (gemtech outback II):D:D, figure i might as well start the wait process sooner than later, In 308 what are some of the better multi use/host 7.62 cans for use on Several Ar15s and Remington 700 aac sd and maybe a fn-fal, just looking for decent sound reduction and usable on multiple hosts. Would prefer using QD Thanks in advance.

HTG makes a 30a-1 that is a take down. Much lighter then the TM 30. Aside from that I would look hard at the Thunder Beast 30p-1 if you want a great Titanium can.

what is the difference between it and aac 762 SD, the shop i work at we are Gemtech dealers , the HVT and sandstorm have came up as well, looking for a little more first hand info on a couple of good ones, thanks for info so far.( i researched, i see difference, construction and length)https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=78489 do the small differences im seeing translate to a major sound reduction/ effectiveness between these two cans.

This is what I'd go with, because it can not only be mounted on all your 7.62 guns but the slightly shorter overall length makes it manageable on 5.56 guns like the AR too, and because it mounts on the 7.62 and 5.56 mounts from AAC there are several options for each. If you have 7.62x39, 6.x, 300 BLK, etc. you can use it on all of those too.

this chart may help you, click on the 7.62 tab at the bottom (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ajl2UPK0UHPscHdzd2hlZ2hOUXNHUnRyVUVVM3B0REE)

What rob said. I have a 7.62 and IIRC there were just 4 or 5 db difference between 7.62 and m42000(?) on an ar. Not much difference in sound reduction and much more versitile.

I am curious to see how many of the other mounts get made-over into the new design. Right now the N-6 has the advantage of mounting to a good number of existing mounts, in 5.56 and 7.62, so I think it's still the current winner.
