Alexandra Pelosi Works Both Sides

I was a little surprised to see Alexandra Pelosi's latest video. As you may know, she did an exposé on your average Mississippi voter for the Bill Maher Show last week. The video is easy to find on YouTube if you missed it. This week, she went to a NY welfare office. The result is worth the 5 min:

So now that they've verified that there's at lest some truth to the stereotypes both sides have of each other, what now? Are my choices really between having a welfare state or Christian Taliban?

Disgusting to say the least..I can argee with the one person who admitted that he had a record, and that getting a job was very difficult, (not impossible, and he also did'nt seem real motivated to find one either) But frankly, they all need to be cut off and set adrift.. Thanks in large part to LBJ, We now have several generations of professional welfare bums, (both white and black) whose only "career" has been playing the system.. It's going to be interesting to see what happens when (If what I've been reading up on is right) our fiat currency system collapes, and the Gov't has no choice but to tell these people that they can' carry them anymore and they're on their own.. Let's see, no skillset (other than partcipating in street crime) little or no education,Too stupid to bag groceries.. It'll be interesting to say the least.. I can already see the marches on Washington, demanding their "rights"...

I could not help but to compare the two. The first video does not visit a social services office, and was described as a "random sampling" of citizens off he street. Granted, we don't know what street she was on which means that we must take on faith that her sampling was truely representative of the larger population. Only one person was idenified as being on welfare, and he appeared to be mentally retarded. The implication is that all of MS is white, poor, stupid, racist, and Republican. The problem with her analysis is that MS has a huge impoverished minority population.

Personally, I think that she should have visited a welfare office in MS. Having worked in a social safety net in the deep South, I know that she would have seen a fairly similar demographic and political viewpoint as in NYC, and saved herself the $300 airfare.
