They are introducing something new in 3 days.

My guess is on allowing customers to pick and choose their own parts or some kind of IDing on their handguns. Lets see how wrong I end up being :)

I would guess its going to be something single stack to compete with the new offerings from S&W, Walther, and Springfield.

Frankly I'd love to see them start pumping out more magazines right now that's the main thing most users seem to be going after.

Hoping for a single stack 9mm and/or a Glock 17c. (17 size with a 19 grip).

Of course we users have been putting 36 tops ends on our 30's for quite a while. Glock finally caught on. :sarcastic:

Haha Glock, they'll come out with anything brand new as long as it doesn't involve having to manufacture new parts.

Glock 30S. It is a Glock 36 slide on a Glock 30SF frame. Meh. Glock has been saying on their facebook page that they had 3 BIG announcements. #1 was the new Glock Online Community. #2 is the 30S. One more to go... hope it is finally something interesting. I love Glocks, but they have GOT to start innovating again or they are going to get left behind.

I think #3 is a GLOCK branded PEZ dispenser.

#3 just went up on facebook. They are releasing the Gen 4 versions of the G20, G29, G30 and G33. The only one there that slightly interests me is a Gen 4 G20. I guess it is another Ho Hum SHOT for Glock. What stuns me is that they are going to have a Gen 4 G30 AND the new G30S. I assumed when the G30S was announced, that they'd just discontinue the original G30... NOT release a Gen 4 of it.

Glock doesnt have a clue. That has been proven. As for them announcing that they have a "big announcement" each year before shot... i think it is funny that people keep falling for that.

I'm just curious why they couldn't get the Gen 4 frame to work with the g36 slide.

Or, it probably works and they have a surplus of Gen 3 SF frames already.

Where the hell is the g17 slide on a 19 frame! Or at least a 19 slide on a 26 frame.

You would have better luck buying a 17 or 19 and chopping some grip off.

Or how about their beavertail backstrap for the Gen 4 that Europe has had for over a year!!

Glock is all about maximum profit and they are not going to invest anything as long as the dollars keep rolling in. Now once they lose enough market share for failing to keep up with the other manufacturers then maybe it will force new products.

I handled the 30S today. What can I say? It was a Glock. Not a bad gun, but not worth replacing your existing 30 or 36.

Went over to Walther and handled that PPQ too. Nice. Looking better and better.

Yeah wasn't that supposed to be the "groundbreaking" release last year?

GLOCKS big announcements are their new website, GLOCK ID, the new 30S, and four more models are now gen 4 (20,29,30,33).

I shot the 30S, and well, guess what, it shoots fine, like a GLOCK. I like the thinner slide, makes it a viable ccw in my opinion.

I have an interview shortly at GLOCK, and I will post a report, and pics when I have time.
