A relative of mine, that was in the Army, came back from Afghanistan and gave me a Surefire light. I have looked online for some info on it and cannot find anything. Wondering if anyone has seen one of these or can give me some info on it such as lumens, etc...? On the light it has Surefire A159482, which I have searched for with no luck.

A simple search of the Surefire website would reveal that you have an M962 or 961 weaponslight. The numbers you see are the serial number.

thanks. i did a simple search on surefire's site and mine is very close to a m962 or 961 but not the exact same. I'm sure the specs are very close if not the same after looking but I am curious as to exactly which model I have. Thats was the reason for my question.

I guess it would be the m961. It just looks different on the part that has "bass" written on it than the picture on Surefire's webisite

It is an M962, the 61 uses the m49 mount (thumb screws) the one in the photo has the ARMS throw lever.
