First, Happy New Year to everyone. Then I will lose 25 lbs, get a gas piston AR, and a CMP M-1 carbine.

1. Get in better shape.
2. Attend more training classes
3. Finish my Degree
4. Get a job that pays better.
1. More cow-bell
2. Shoot more pistol matches
3. Kill more four legged creatures.
I usually do not do resolutions as I just strive to overcome whatever obstacle is in my path.
My main goal for 2008 is to pay off my mortgage as I have a real problem with owing someone money.
C4
1. Add a 13 miler to the weekly run program.
2. Put in 3000 miles on the bike (pedal)
3. Enter more multi sport races.
4. Complete my first half Ironman
The big ones:
1. Sell home (in progress)
2. Get new job (Anybody need an engineer in OK?)
3. Eliminate debt (house sale is going to kill a huge chunk of it)
4. Build savings
Smaller ones:
5. Get CCW finally
6. Be able to spend more on guns, ammo, training, gear -- depends on #3
7. Get a good, basic training class under my belt
1. Run 10 to 15 miles a week.
2. Get out to the range more often.
Continue to rock the hassle-free lifestyle.
Shoot a 680 on the Humbler.
Beat Vinh at a drill. Any drill.
Hit 3 or more classes.
Make B in USPSA Production.
Make something happen on the business front.
Get the promotion I've been gunning for for over a year.
My big three:
1. Get back into running 6 miles a day again like I was before I tore my ACL and MCL back in September.
2. Become more dedicated to working out and getting in the best shape of my life
3. Make sure that I make it to the range for some trigger time at least once a month

I resolve to not make "resolutions" on an arbitrary change of the calendar.
If I need to improve myself in some way (and I do), then I shall start improving myself THE very moment I recognize the "issue".
Historically I have not put to much effort into making resolutions. I have goals and plans but they aren't dependant upon a new year. That said, here is what is on my list now...
1) Axe my debt
2) Start lifting and mountain biking again
3) Make my next career move to a bigger department
4) Get a legit Det-1 Kimber
5) Get a non-NFA Noveske N4 or LWRC to go with my 6933
6) Just make it to the next New Year
