I am new to the plate carriers and this forum (learned a great deal). Only experience I have is the army IBA I wore in Iraq. I bought a TAG rampage carrier for $50.00 off a friend of mine. I put some 10x12 plates in and went to size correctly. Plates are all the way to the top of pocket and secured but the only way to get it to sit right on my chest is to have the shoulders straps so tight that I have to use the velcro in the kangaroo pouch. Also I have to disengage a shoulder strap to take off. It is a size sm/md. I wore a small IBA before. Did I do it wrong? I am at a loss at what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
