Hola Gents,

I wanted to share some pictures from my third build. I just got back from taking it coon hunting/spotlighting the first time and it worked rather well. I cooked up some hand-loads using the new Nosler Varmegeddon bullets; they are rather explosive (not the kind of thing you'd want to see pictures of) It's probably got 15 kills on it now, with many more to go! [:D]

Nice truck. What bumper is that?

Oh, and nice rifle also. ;)

It's a Ranch Hand Legend series front end replacement. It's more fun killing deer with it than any of my rifles. :)

Nice truck yourself!

Regarding dogs, no we don't use them. It's too much area to cover so we just use trucks and spotlights. It's by no means "hunting" so much as it is "pest control".

I get the "pest control" I have a skunk living under one of the ranch houses:eek: (the one I sleep in:mad:) and I don't know if you ever read E.A. Poe's THE MONKEY'S PAW, but it sounds like that.... clawing an nawing under the floor all night echoing thru the house and I can't ever get the bastard with out risking getting gassed:mad: I'm thinking about spreading a 20 lbs of cayenne pepper down there next......

I thought so. I just ordered a Bullnose one for my F250. Very nice. :)

I've seen a lot of stuff amounted on an AR but a Ford truck? my god man!....... Just kidding.

How is the Eotech in low light and the smallish Surefire? Is it enough light?

Until that day,
Darkop

Hah! Yeah, 8008lbs 3 ozs is plenty manageable... Those troy rails are strong!

Seriously though, the eotech with the m600c is adequate. Its no million cp q-beam, but you can see eyes for 100-150 yards. I've got a similar bcm gun I'm mounting a Zeiss to for when the eotech just isn't enough.
