West Lafayette, Indiana to recognize officer's selfless action in fire. With all the negative talk about cops and over stepping power lately, this is a good one to see.

Congratulations to Officer Dunscomb for receiving his department's Police Merit Commission's award.

Honestly, I am not always a huge fan of review boards. Too often they can be swayed by politics. But I think it's great that they took the opportunity to recognize his heroism.

Speaking as a former hose-dragger and band-aid dispenser, going in to a fire is not an easy thing to do.

Congrat's to that officer.

Too many times does the public overlook the heroism of police officers.
