I have an 1860 Army that I would like to get some work done to. Basically an action job and reliability job...
Anybody know of someone I can send my revolver to?...Im in Arizona.
Also Im interested in changing out the nipples...
Can't help you at all, but I've got one too. What caps do you use? I can't seem to find any that won't fall off the nipples.

Try pinching the cap skirt a tiny bit to tighten the fit.
Personally prefer RWS brand caps when I can get them.
Otherwise I like the DGW label, but they are corrosive.
Main reason I like those brands is they use heavier gauge metal to form the cap, less shrapnel and failed caps during ignition.
The revolvers use a different size cap then rifles. There are #10 and #11 size caps but I don’t remember which one is the correct size.

# 10 is for a pistol and # 11 is for a rifle.
I highly recommend Lee's Gunsmithing. They have been doing SASS guns since the very beginning and have done several for me over the years. http://www.cowboyshooters.com/
