Joining the 300 aac blk club

Just got confirmation that my 12" noveske barrel should ship tomorrow. now got to buy all the other parts. Going to be outting it on my current sbr and probably putting my 7.5" 5.56 back on the pistol lower it came with.

Any suggestions or things i shoud look out for.

One question if i decide to cut it down to 10" or 8" what will i need to do to the gas port?

Well got my 300 aac setup and running.

Noveske 12" barrel
Spikes bcg
Yhm upper
DD 7" lite rail
A2 flash hider
Put it on my sbr lower running a spikes s2t2 buffer in a templar lower with a local gs lpk in it. All magpul furniture incluging miad grip, ctr stock on mil spec buffer tube, and afg.

Ran 69 rounds through it of PNW 147grain fmj plinker ammo
Ran 5 gi mags with one round each, locked back every time
Ran two 30 round filled gi mags no f2f and locked back on both empties
Also ran 2 pmags with 2 rounds each both fed and locked back on empty.

Very happy with how it turned out and i am going to run it in a carbine class on sunday, will sight in the buis and eotech then.

And it is as fun as shit to shoot. Time to start reloading ugh, more money to spend. Luckily the wife is getting into shooting as well so she is good with it all :-)
