3rd time here. The lion looks rather mangy, and I got the kids teacher in mid fall. I can't imagine how embarrassing it would be to fall flat on your ass in front of over half your kids parents all with their cameras up taking pictures but the rest of the trip went well. Been really busy so it was good to get out on the legs and see some critters.

This is not a full scale zoo and its basically 45 min in and out if you aren't stuck like a group like we were. We have also been to Sea World SA and want to go to the Dallas Zoo sometime in the future. For the kids though and trying to keep track of everyone the size of this place was good. Its NOT an "all day" type of place unless you like walking circles.

Anyways some of the pictures have messed up lines and such. Photobucket seems to have gone down in quality uploads. Some of the colors are off, too. Maybe need to fine a new image host.

Good looking fam there Belmont, looks like y'all had some quality time. Enjoy the outdoors before it gets too damn hot, lol.

Nice looking family you got there.

If you like zoos and don't want to drive to SA, or DFW; you should give Waco a try. Camden Park Zoo is pretty cool. Relatively cheap, well maintained offers a few playgrounds for the kids to run around in. They have some cool animal displays. There is a dug out "under" the alligator display that is plexiglas so it kind of feels like you're under water. Scared the crap out of my boy when he came face to face with an alligator that actually moved.

Thanks for the suggestion. Went there about 2 years ago but could go again.
