Looking for some magazines for colt sporter ar-15 chambered in 7.62x39. I have 2 thirty round one 20 round and a five round. Looking for a few in 5 or 10 round any help will be greatly appreciated. Not having any luck finding any or just looking in wrong place. Actually I will take anything I can find at this point.
In for info on this as well... One of my good buds has a AR in 7.62x39 and is having trouble finding good mags a well...
We went to the NRA convention and saw RRAs has a new AR in 7.62 that will run pretty much any AK mag, which is sweet as good AK mags are still plentiful and affordable...
i can get asc at 24.00 ea
i use them and they work perfectly. i have 2 carbines in 7.62
11.5"
16" h/b colt. with match trigger
complete uppers to use on 1 of my sbr's
i am not in the ar mag business but i have been doing this for friends as i can get them usually. they are back ordered now but i have a bunch on order it will take about 6 weeks.
also call Brian at aim. i am sure he buys the cheaper and u have him between the company and u on defectives.
nothing bad about the platform. anywho have never shot it poo-poo it. fnv is
800 Rd's on the colt 16"
300 Rd's on the 11.5"
not cleaned either ammo i have does not seem corrosive either.
hornady sent me 200 Rd's of 7.62 match and it shoots into 11/2", at 50 yds.(my zero on all carbines) by cross gun. using a rest and a aimpoint pro, i had in stock. i cant shoot that well due to asthma,so drag him. "zero boy".
buy in confidence. no failures as long as u use the longer f/pin form model-1 sale in whitewright,TEXAS. or GODS COUNTRY as we Texans like to call it
hope this helps

I too use the ACS mags plus Model 1 FP without any issues. Mind you the enhanced FP allowed me to shoot surpplus ammo with no malfunction.
Do a search for USA 7.62X39 mags and there are 3 or 4 threads on different mags people have found. USA mags have always worked well for me but they are no longer in business.
My Ammunition Storage Components, ASC (google it),
mags work just fine.
Totally reliable for me in 30, 10 and 5 rounders.
Should add I'm using ARP's Superbolt bcg. Zero issues.
