I have heard of these before, but never seen them. Does anyone have any info on them? Does anyone know where to buy.... If there is such a thing.
There is such a thing, but they are not available for purchase by anyone other than a few specific military units.

This. Why they're restricted I'm not sure - yet again - but they aren't selling them.

Thanks for the response fellas.
Were they only in .40? I'd heard it was for these units to more easily separate their G17 mags from their G22 mags.

Only seen them in .40S&W.

Glock doesn't do stuff unless it's profitable.
They only ran the FDE guns for Lipseys because they got a mega order for them. They discontinued the OD's because they didn't want to do small batches and have to screw around with changing things over... we're talking about a company that tries to use the same recoil springs in their 9mm and .357SIG's....
If a distributor ordered 10,000 mags, I'm sure Glock would make them in any color they asked for.
As it stands, one customer of Glock's decided to pay to get them their way, so they got them.
If you can talk a distributor into fronting the cash for thousands of them, I'm sure Glock would do a run on anything they "don't offer" or "have discontinued" (RTF's, OD Green's, FDE mags, etc).

For non-Gov/Mil/LE agency orders, minimum order of 10,000 units to do a custom run.

Black doesn't take dye too well.
There's always Krylon and Alumahyde II :big_boss: .
What's the big deal? I just krylon the baseplate. You telling me if the mag is in a pouch or in the gun someone can see it if it's not camo'ed??

But all the cool guys have them! :D
If someone is close enough to see what color your mag is, you're probably screwed in the first place. FDE Glock mags aren't FDE to blend in. ;)
