It's not a big deal. Typically, if there's a building that is getting ready to be torn down or renovated they will often times let special units conduct training in them such as simunition excercises and what not.

We use to use an old high school for training on the east coast and another one in Memphis.There was an old office building in downtown Norfolk we used for training as well, before they tore it down. Some other major cities had some cool buildings to train in. One was an old loony bin that was kinda scary. Still had the old electro shock therapy room.

When I lived in MT every now and again BlackHawk's would land in strange (near overpasses, bridges, on edge of town, etc.) places and pop smoke de-bus run around setup a perimeter and then saddle up and fly away.
