I searched and did not see any info on this, so mods please forgive me if it has been discussed- Does any one have experience with this end plate? I like the non rotational qd point, to use in place of the rotational qd point on my Vltor imod- please let me know the pros and cons- thx in advance

Has the same problem as most, it doesnt allow you to fully collapse and lock the stock. I have no experience with this particular model but check the reviews on Troys sight. I like the noveske personally, but I would go with something that replaces the RE plate and allows the stock to fully collapse.

I don't have any hands on experience with the Troy, but I have the Noveske and have no problem collapsing my CTR completely with both the VLTOR and Daniel Defense QD mounts. The Troy looks like it shouldn't interfere but if it were to do so, I'd imagine it wouldn't been hard to modify the mount or the stock so as to solve that problem.

I stand corrected, the Troy won't work with the Magpul.

Pretty sure that is what I have on mine. No issues on a Vltor MUR-1A receiver and Vltor A5 tube w/Emod.

The CTR will not lock into the forward-most position, but other than that it works well for me. It's heavy-duty, easy to install and locks on tight. I hope this helps.

Same here. I run them on two of my rifles and they have been holding up fine through "normal" use (About 2500 rounds and a class with each rifle). CTR stock on Mil Spec receiver extention will not reach fully colapsed.
