Has anyone permanently attached an Ops Inc suppressor mount brake to a 14.5 inch barrel? Either blind pin or silver solder. It may work if you countersunk the weld hole below the threads, and/or run a die over the threads after the weld. Will it be long enough with a crush washer behind it to be 16 inch legal? It will be for a DD 14.5 mid barrel that already has the proper step for the collar for an Ops M4-S or M4M suppressor. I plan on running one of those two cans most of the time, I just don't want to SBR the rifle if I can help it. Thanks for your help.
