Hey everyone, I am about to get into cerakote and had a few questions. What kind of paint guns is everyone using and what size tip. My next question does anyone use an airbrush like a badger? I plan on doing a lot of cerakote too.

Thanks

I'm still contemplating getting an small Iwata HVLP. I swing a gun every day at work and nothing beats a good spray gun. Keep it clean, occassional matenance it it'll give you years of trouble free service. Buy a cheap Chicom knock off and get troubled with drips, leaks and unavailability of repair parts. Right now I'm just in it for myself and have put those two projects on the back burner.

Thanks for the info. Iwata are nice and so are sata. I spray primer all day and you can tell the difference between a quality and a cheap gun. I was talking to my painter and he told me look into the badger 150 and you can get a kit where you get the fine, medium and heavy tip. The heavy tip spray 1/16th to 3 inches spray pattern which would be perfected.
