Apparently it was too much for the agent as well, when he sobered up and realized he didn't have $800. Even with the rest of the agents trying to pool together the payment, they still didn't come up with the amount. That's the reason of the problem.

Bad apples will always slip through even the tightest screening processes. The number of clearances revoked, personnel reassigned, internal and criminal cases made, is far more than most would ever realize in LE, mil, and other organizations of all types.

People engage in this behavior because of organizational leadership, culture and supervision after the screening. They do it because they think they can, and they are often more right than anyone wants to believe.

The expression "what goes TDY, stays TDY" is a great example of that.

I agree. I have never been any type of armed professional...I boss and I discussed my advancement today and both concur on his leadership philosophy.....Do the right thing, because its the right thing to do.
