Posted this in NFA forum under the availability of this can but imagine many havent seen it.

This is one reason I enjoy 300BLK... suppressed subs through the 762-SDN-6 that just arrived last week. Listen to the reaction of the guy who was shooting next to me (whom ive never met) at the end.

Hope to have a chance to try a full mag of rapid fire standing at 50 yards tomorrow.

That combination is a fun one, and it certainly has some nice practical applications.

Is that a 10" Noveske barrel in a cqb rail? Did you have any fittest issues?

It's actually a 10.5" Noveske 300FB with an adjustable PRI block. Looks to me that the 10" would also work with the mount and suppressor. Dennis did a nice job on the conversion. Fit is a little tighter than my factory MRP barrels so not able to hand turn the torx bolts much during install or removal.

That is fun. I can not wait to get my Noveske and can. Keep posting up videos and stock up on subs before they go up in price in a few months.

I attended the Second Chance shoot for 20 years straight, 1979 to 1998. One side event had you shooting steel targets down with a rifle at from 50 to, I think, 80 yards. Most used AR15's, and they worked, but.....

In '95 or so I used a suppressed .300 Whisper. What an unfair advantage! For one, with 5.56, targets went down, but slowly. Low hits meant try again. Using CorBon 220's, a hit with the Whisper just made them disappear-- instantly. Still there was the temptation to get visual confirmation of each hit-- but it was totally unnecessary because the sound of the impact on steel was instantly and totally discernible, whereas unsuppressed, the impact "PLOK!" was completely masked by the report of the rifle.

Have to practice to get more hits at speed. Fun!

The Noveske is far right in this photo with an AWC 45 pistol can on it... silver adapter converting pistol threads to 5/8x24 extending the length a bit.

I thought that was always a gig no-no for a pistol can used on a rifle cartridge.

Is the AWC can that tough or is the .300BLK that low pressure?

Generally ok for subsonic rounds because yes, they run low pressures. 300BLK supers are a no-no in pistol cans. Plenty of people run 300BLk subs through 9mm pistol suppressors also. Glad I have the real thing now though (762-SDN-6).

I'm so glad I have ample land to shoot on. I would hate it if I had to go to a range that was that busy.

I had the chance to shoot the same setup except on a 16" barrel and full auto in a shoot house. I would have preferred a shorter barrel, but the ammo was free and was told to shoot it all by the owner. I put two mags through it as did everyone else on my squad. Phil Strader is a very generous guy.
