Here is the Optima 2000 machined into the P226 slide so the iron sights could be co-witnessed.

Very nice. I'd like something like that for a plinker. How much to mill the slide?

Can you do it on other pistols as well or currently just the Sig?

Having done one of these with a Docter Optic, I was wondering if this installation interfered with the operation of the striker safety?

Or is the milling shallow enough to allow it to operate normally?

Perhaps the deck height of the Optima is lower than others?

I took the shallow approach and suppressor sights.
Being able to use the factory sights and still get a co-witness is a nice feature.

Yes we modified the safety disconnect and spring. Taller suppressor sights do allow you to mount the optic higher if you wish.
