Are these available for purchase?

I contacted KAC a few months back with the same question and
they told me they are not available to the "public" as of now.

I would assume the military and LE Agency/Departments may be able
to get their hands on them though.

Wouldn't ammo be an issue too? Not a common caliber that I've seen....

Trey may correct me on this, but I believe the PDW is still in prototype phases, and is not yet in production for anyone - LEO, .mil, or civilians.

How about we see if KAC AR's ever hit the dealers shelves in any meaningful way, then cross our fingers for some of their more "exotic" weapons?

I'm right with you, I love their stuff...just hope for a day when availability will be a lot less of an issue....and yes (for the knee-jerkers) I understand a war's going on and yes, I respect their priorities.

I think I remember Trey posted about this either here or at Silencertalk.com, the PDW is not going into any kind production unless they get a government contract for it. He said that IF that happens and there is a good supply for ammo they would also considering making a 16" barreled semi auto version for commercial sales.
