Engraver in Central TX

I don't know of anyone in the area I would trust to do my SBR correctly. You might check with Ray at Webers in Temple if you are dead set on a local job. He might know someone.

I used Ident just recently. Engraving looks great and is nice and discreet under the receiver by the trigger but expect a pretty good wait. Mine took over a month.

Definitely go with Ident, I'm in the Dallas area and had some free time so I went to their actual building/office to see if they would engrave while I waited. I expected to be turned away or if I was lucky to sit in a waiting area, but the guys there gave me a tour and showed me how they engraved lowers. Really friendly and stand up guys.

I sent my lower in and it arrived on April 20th. Emailed yesterday, and the expected completion date is around May 17th. So to confirm what Mahk stated, turnaround time is about a month.

Mine was delivered May 14th after attempted delivery May 11th. So it would have been 21 days from the time of arrival at their location, to delivery to my door. I wish they would have emailed me a tracking number so I would have known to be home. I just received a "Sorry we missed you" letter in my door Friday, and had to wait all weekend. Work looks good though.

Ident received my lower on April 5. Yesterday (May 15) i emailed Jeanne at Ident and she wrote back saying they are having problems with their engraving machine. She said she will email me when they mail it.
Just an update: still no word and now it's been 7 weeks. I wounder if something happened to my receiver... :O

bsojoe: any update? They received my lower last Tue. but I didn't want to email this soon. They origionally told me they were 3 weeks behind. Would love to hear an update on your situation.

Sent it in 4/5/12 received it back on 5/22/12 They first told me 3/4 weeks cause their busy. Emailed them 5/15/12 and was told the engraving machin was acting up and they didn't want to mess up my receiver that they would email me when it was mailed out. They didn't. Also forgot to engrave my name under the logo...

Waiting on mine from Ident Marking, they were great to deal with on the phone. Will give update on completion.

Ident has had my lower for 5 weeks now.
They said they should get to it last week.

Im glad their not rushing things, and im glad I sent the paperwork before engraving (I know its a bit risky)

Mine was gone for 3 1/2 weeks and they did a great job with it. They are very helpful. I will not have anyone else doing my engraving anymore. They are it from now on.

UPS just left... I finally got my lower back from Ident... 45 days but great work. Now, on to the ATF paperwork...
