Burris Fastfire III?

Now that these are shipping, does anyone have one? Can you share your observations/impressions?

It looks like they are quite a bit nicer than the Fastfire II series.

I'm curious as well. I have a FFII mounted on one of my AR's and actually like it. Haven't had any issues with it but like it enough to possibly replace it with the FFIII which addresses some of the shortcomings with the previous model.

I just mounted a Fastfire II I had sitting around the house on an AK. I just checked out the improvements made to the Fastfire on the III model and I like what I see. I have been knocking around throwing a P Rail on my wife's 870. This new III model might serve well, given the low amount of use that particular SG gets and would also serve well as an "intro" optic to get her used to an RDS on a SG. The improved switch and the relocated battery access are nice improvements.

Does anyone have any new info on these I would love to get on but cannot locate a mount for cowitness with an AR15.
