He's trying to capitalize on the fact that AAC isn't making them for civilian transfer anymore as they had a contract to make it for SOCOM I believe. Surefire may have the contract now if I recall correctly. You're better off looking at the newer AAC stuff or surefire's 7.62 cans.

It's a big heavy can, there are better options now- AAC 762-SD (also discontinued), the 762-SDN-6 and the upcoming SR7.
