FR8 scope mount and stocks?

I have an FR8 that is extremely handy and fun to shoot, but the iron sights are pretty lousy for a bolt gun. What I'd love is a solid way to mount a scope on it, although it would have to be forward of the rear sight a bit. Perhaps a scout style mount would work.

I'd like to get a synthetic stock for it as well. Can Mauser stocks be modified to fit?

No direct experience, but since the receiver is practically that of a large ring Mauser, I don't think you should have any problem fitting the action.

Maybe find a stock and cut it down to the necessary length?
