I have a Colt swivel mounted thru the side of the front sight housing on the barrel of my 6920. I'm thinking about getting the Elzetta ZFH1500T light mount, but I will have to remove the current Colt swivel. I don't want to remove the rubberized sling loop to attach to the lugs under and to the rear of the front sight housing, I'd like to buy another one.

The only one I've seen is attached already to a rail-type mount, I'd just like to get the rubberized loop. I've searched all morning and can't find one - and I was unable to get the lady at Colt CS to understand what I was talking about. Does anyone know what the technical term is for this style of sling swivel? Thanks.

I like these.. Ron

I tried one of the Colt units you referenced, but had issues mounting it. Brownells had them (Colt mfg) for $55 I believe.

This one (halfway down the page) is not a Colt part.. http://www.gunaccessories.com/ar15/ar15parts.asp

Thanks kokopelli, half way down the 2nd link is what I'm looking for but I only want the rubberized loop portion - not the mounting base.
