I have a bug up my ass about running a 7.5" barrel. Later I will be adding a can as funds and bills allow.

Does anyone have good info on getting a 7.5" barrel to run correctly? Who should I be talking to in the barrel business?

If you guys have any pics of super short guns please post them up.

Thx for the help.

I got a cheap barrel from M1S since I planned to destroy it pretty quickly doing mag-dumps at MG shoots. It worked 100% for me first time out with an O-ring around the extractor spring and an H-2 buffer. It easily holds minute-of-waterheater at 100 yards.

I later added a Noveske not-a-silencer-but-makes-it-less-loud-for-the-shooter-thingy, but it runs 100% with or without it. With the de-loudener it still gives a satisfying chest-thumping to the shooter, but doesn't make your ears ring even with plugs and muffs. It feels kind of like a big-block V-8 with glass-packs is revving up nearby.

Looks sharp Griz. I've heard the really short barrels are not that accurate. Any idea as to why?
