Hi everyone, I've got all the parts for my AR15 and next weekend I'll be picking up the lower and taking it out to the range.

This is my first AR, I've never so much as field stripped one, but I've watched videos and read the cleaning sticky in this section of the forum, and I have a decent idea of how things go together, but I was wondering if there was anything specific I need to inspect, or check prior to firing for the first time, and if I need to take the BCG apart and lube it as outlined in the cleaning sticky, or if it comes from the factory ready to go.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I would clean the barrel and lube BCG prior to shooting.
