A cultural loss for those into cars.
If we can rattle on for weeks about a OD'd, crack-head, has been, I move for a National Day of Mourning for the passing of the man who gave us the Shelby Cobra, the GT 350 and GT 500, and the Dodge Viper.

I support and second this motion.

I've never been much of a gear head but thanks to an uncle of mine I have a bug for European road racing, never could get the nack of watching stock cars go in circles for 500 miles. Mr. Shelby made the finest American automobiles to date. It's a sad day for sure.

I was never a fan of his cars, but I can't deny he was a huge part of the car culture and, late in life, a noteable philanthropist. Farewell, Carroll.

One man who was in Heaven before the Devil knew he was dead.
