Im just starting to look into suppressors and liked the ops inc cans.

Then I read about the specific barrel contour they required.
Looked on Adco's site and saw a picture of the contouring required.

From the pictures it looks like BCM has that taper right before the threads on many of their uppers.

Is that correct, or would a standard 12.5" BCM upper still need re-contoured to accept ops inc?

Thanks

Just measured their standard 12.5 carbine upper and it's .750" past the FSB, while the last half inch (.450 actually) of the un-threaded portion is .727".

If it has a gov contour you're good to go.

I sent an email to Steve at ADCO with a few questions.

One of them was about barrel profile with OPS collars.
He said that a standard Gov. profile will need machining.

Does anyone know if a 14.5" M4 profile barrel is different than a Gov. profile (between the m203 cut and threads?)
Because I have read that a m4 profile works, so im a little confused.
