View Full Version : What parts are needed for Benelli M2 stock change
I am removing the pistol grip stock from my M2 and changing it to a regular stock. Both parts are Benelli OEM. When putting on the new stock (non pistol grip) I noticed there needs to be a piece to go between the stock and the receiver and another piece for the bolt and lock washer to hold up against inside the stock. Is a shim kit what I need to get? If not where do I need to go to get the parts?
If the stock is new, it should have come with a shim kit, see the link below for more on the shim kits:

I did this on my M2, I went with the Confort Tec stock, there is a plastic u shaped insert that you will also need ? I dont know what its called ? sorry, the stock bolt runs thru it, I looked everywhere for that peice, I ended up buying a standard M2 stock off Gun Choker for the insert, it came with both peices, you might try Brownells....

I ended up calling the Benelli customer service number and the guy I talked to was very knowledgeable and helpful and got me situated with a new shim kit.
