It's not my own personal experience, but my friend Lalo (ex-SEAL) has been using a lot of MFT stuff on the guns for the classes he's teaching here in San Diego.

They're not a big industry name (in what's already a crowded market), but he thinks pretty highly of them - and obviously knows good kit.

I love my mft battlelink stock, it replaced my acs-l on my lmt. its lighter (9.1 oz vs 12.48 oz) with more storage and its a modular design with 2 qd sockets. Supposedly the polymer they are using is much more advanced than most are using. I will admit its kinda on the ugly side but its growing on me. I want to try the garmin 401 attachment kit and see how it goes.

They do look interesting but are kinda ugly. I have a magpul Moe right now.

Nothing wrong with the moe, I wanted to change it up and not have the same stock as everyone else at the range. I cant even count how many magpul stocks I see each time out, nothing against magpul, I respect and use many of their products.

I really like the Moe but I've been looking for something other than magpul vltor or all the others that people have I want to be different too. I really do see how they can grow on you I'm interested.

imho: Pick a stock that that suites "your" face and balances well to your rig/setup, with features that assist = QD/LOP/Comb Height.

Any other the most commonly seen/used stocks from respected/quality manuf. will be GTG.

I am using the MFT E-VolV Battlestock attachment and I think it's great! At first I was quite skeptical to its ruggedness. But I thought what the hell it's only $30, if it breaks so what, I've still got my standard M4 stock underneath.

After about 6 months of hard use it works great, and is holding up fine! I've dropped it and just treated the rifle like crap in general, but find it's still good to go!

Just an FYI, but I saw that MFT is running a 20% off everything sale for Memorial Day weekend. Save some dough if you're considering trying out anything.

They're an offshoot from CAA. I'll eyeball this thread to see what's up but I am not expecting much. check out their "classic" line to see what I mean.

The MFT Classic line was previously marketed under CAA, MFT is the sole distributor of these products since the separation with CAA. However the rest of the MFT line is designed to be top quality products and is an entirely different product line.

There is a solid polymer block that runs through the stock and is bolted together. Then the over piece which is what you see is bolted to the block and snaps into the slots along the GI stock. One would think it would lend to snagging and ripping off, but it's simply not the case. It's just SOLID! You get all the ergonomic benefits of the SOPMOD type stocks, and two storage compartments that are fairly tight and sealed
