The wife and I took my rifles out this morning. I needed to to sight in my AR and finish sighting in my Weatherby. I only put 16 rounds through the 30.06 before it wasn't that much fun for my shoulder anymore. I sighted in the Weatherby at 100yards.
Between the wife and I, we only put 20 rounds of Remington .223 through the LWRC. That was all the time I had. The LWRC is absolutley amazing. I still need to mess with the FSP before my next trip. I should've taken a pic of my targets but I forgot. :( But believe me, the LWRC, with open sights at 25 yards, was dead accurate. The next time I go I'll finish sighting it in at 50yards.

Here's me coming back from setting up the target.

I love this rifle! Way more accurate than I am.

This was the REAL fun.

Nice pics man. Looks like you had a good time out there.
That LWRC is a sweet shooting rifle isnt it! Put an optic or some type of red dot on it and really see how good it shoots.
Looks like the wife knows what she is doing. Better watch out.

Thanks, I just got it around Thanksgiving. I have a total of 36 rounds through it.

I have the money for an eotech. I have just been waiting to find a deal on one; like one of those big coupons from Cabela's or something.
And the wife; she shoots better than me sometimes! She has her ccw and has my back.

Good for you. Its good to hear that your wife takes an interest in that.
My wife carries a Walther P22 in her vehicle becaus she is dead accurate with it. When she shoots my 9mm or .45 she cannot hit anything.
Im using an EOTECH on my LWRC. I have it sitting on the Larue Eotech riser. A nice combination.

So that is a lower 1/3 co-witness?

If you are talking to me then Yes and No. My rifle has the HK style sights that are not flip up. The front sight is in the lower 1/3 but the rear is a bit lower than that. I figure that if I need the iron sights , I will just use the quick release Larue mount and take it off.
I have read that other flipup sights such as the Troy are in the lower 1/3.

Gotcha.
