Has anyone been to North Spring? I am heading there on Thursday, hopefully. It looks pretty awesome, but a bit of a drive for me.

Great video on their website:

I've been there a couple times. They have a fantastic facility with multiple ranges, including a 1000 yard range. They even have a pretty cool cowboy villiage shoot town if you are into that kind of shooting. The range is also very inexpensive for what you get, especially considering it is a multi million dollar facility.

As for the video, I actually produced that video and i'm in the video a couple times (shooting the bow on their archery range). My company Flying Sensors Productions filmed and edited the video, as well as a bunch of other videos for Carbon County. We had a lot of fun shooting the footage of the range.

The only thing I don't like about the range is how far it is away from Salt Lake. I would shoot there a lot more if it wasn't a 2 1/2 hour drive. But have fun Thursday and post some pics!

Wow, that is awesome. We found out about the range at the last gun show. I am taking my ten year old with me and making a day of it. He is psyched about the town and the archery.

All I can say is that the North Springs Shooting Range is awesome. We drove two hours to get there and it was worth it. Tons of great things to do and they even have golf carts for you to use at the 1000 yard range. We didn't get to try out the law enforcement venue or the skeet areas, but I am looking forward to that next time. They also have a campground there so we may make it an overnighter next time.

We went back to the NSSR today and they were setting up for a "Zombie Shoot-Out" for October 13th -14th. I won't be able to go back down for it, but it looked like a lot of fun for an October event. I saw them hauling in a huge pull behind mobile smoker and that really made me wish I lived closer. Seems like a fun time if anyone gets a chance to go.
